You probably clicked here to find out more about me, the writer of the blog, or learn more about the drive for the blog. I think the best way to know a man is to know how he lives. So, I’ll leave the task to you. As you go through the blog, you will encounter me more deeply than I can write about myself. But, I’ll try to condition your perspective a little bit, by telling you some mundane things about myself.

I’m Kokoete, namesake of my father. I’m Efik, in love with my name, reaching out to it with a romantic streak. I’m a fragment of the Divine, conscious of my elemental co-creative potency. I believe God is a sociologist – Subsistent Sociologist – desirous of sustained interaction with me as with other beings. I’m a student, employing the sociological imagination to my varied encounters. I’m poiema…a child breaking free from adulthood. I feel what I write sometimes, many times writing what I feel. I’m here today and, maybe, tomorrow!
